Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band are classes during the school year with placement based on auditions in the Spring.  Classes run regularly throughout the academic school year with an all Music Department concert in December and one 7am rehearsal.  Dates for these can be found in the "Calendar" tab. Admission fees for concerts is five dollars.

WIND ENSEMBLE

This is our higher level ensemble, mainly consisting of
​upper-classmen, 11-12th graders. This group attends large group festivals, debuts several concerts throughout the year, and travels to clinics across the PNW.

SYMPHONIC BAND

This is our incoming band,
mainly consisting of 9-10th graders.
This group attends large group
festivals, debuts a few concerts
throughout the school year, and
​is for our students needing more skill on their current or even new instruments.

SPOKANE ARMED FORCES LILAC PARADE

​Regardless of which ensemble you are in:
Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, Marching,
ALL BAND DEPARTMENT STUDENTS participate in the Spokane Armed Forces Lilac Parade in Downtown Spokane in May.
Each year, we are given a specific parade float number, which varies by year.
Lilac Parade rehearsals are in May, consisting of an all day Saturday - Brighton Place rehearsal
and two 7am rehearsals. These dates
​can be found in the "Calendar" tab.
